Dr. Miloslav Had is a Senior Fellow at the Czech Council on Foreign
Relations. From 1998 to 2002, he served as Advisor to the Czech Minister
of Foreign Affairs. During his career, Dr. Had has built up exceptional expertise in international relations, European integration and Czech Foreign Policy. His research is based on experience from the Czech diplomatic service as well as his analyst career at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he served as the Head of the Policy Planning Department. He has participated in various international research projects (Security for Europe, Brown University, Foreign Policies in Central Europe, Central European University, EU, Phare projects and others.) He has extensive experience in teaching international students. In 1996 and 1997, he was a lecturer in the Semester Program of University of Pennsylvania in Prague. Dr. Had is a member of Editorial board of monthly magazine Mezinarodni Politika (International Politics) at the Institute of International Relations. He also serves on the Board of the Scientific Board of the School of International Relations at the Prague Economic University and the Czech Foundation for the Study of International Relations.
