Editor-in-chief of the EU Presidency Column, EURO (weekly magazine)

Martin Shabu received his MA in Political Sciences from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, where he is currently enroled in PhD program. Since 1/2009 Martin works as an Editor-in-chief of the EU Presidency Column, EURO (weekly magazine). In the past he has been working as an Office Manager for the organization ANO pro Evropu/Yes for Europe (see www.anoproevropu.cz) and was an author of the exhibition “Europe of Values and Ideas”, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Czech Republic.

During the period 2005 – 2006 Martin hold a Traineeship at the European Commission’s Secretariat General as a desk officer for Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, Brussels. In 2005 he was a Producer of radio program reflecting annual period of the Czech membership in the EU, Czech Radio1 “Radiožurnál”. He is an author of several commentaries and articles focusing on EU Politics and International Affairs.
